The recycling center will be  closed Thursday, April 17th,  Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th.  It will reopen on Monday, April 21st.

The April 15th meeting of the Board of Recreation Commissioners has been cancelled and is now rescheduled for April 22nd


New Automated Sanitation Truck to Begin Collections as Follows:

In the Countrywood Drive and Trailwood areas including the Malapardis and Ukraine Roads areas on Wednesday, April 23rd and all Wednesdays thereafter; and In the Whippany Road area including Eden Lane and the Academy Drive area off of Hanover Avenue on Thursday, April 24th and all Thursdays thereafter.  Sanitation will only be collected one day a week as described above.  Call the DPW at 973-428-2495 with any questions.

Come & Meet Chet Kochan, a Decorated Veteran of the Battle of Normandy - Saturday, May 17, 2014

In tribute and recognition of our deceased
veterans, the Hanover Township Veterans Alliance invites all residents of the Township to attend the Memorial Day services on Monday, May 26, 2014.  A service and wreath laying ceremony will take place at the Veterans Monument near the main entrance to the Municipal Building from 8:30 AM to 8:45 AM.  

Following the service, all are welcome to attend the Memorial Day Parade that will begin at Whippany Road and East Fairchild Place at 9:30 AM.  The line of march will proceed north on Whippany Road, left onto Parsippany Road and continue to the American Legion Post Home on Legion Place.  At the conclusion of the parade, members of the American Legion, VFW and Marine Corps League will gather at the American Legion Post Home along with officials from the Township and the public to conduct a memorial service and ceremony and service honoring those who sacrificed their lives to preserve the freedom we enjoy.  Please join us on May 26th for this important tribute to our fallen heroes and the members of our armed forces who continue to protect our liberty and freedom.
