The open portion of the meeting, at which time members of the public are invited to attend, will begin at 6:00 PM in the Main Meeting Room at the Hanover Township Municipal Building located at 1000 Route 10 in Whippany. Following the open session, the meeting will be closed to the public and proceed in closed, executive session in order for the governing body to discuss and review time-sensitive legal matters with the Township Attorney as authorized by N.J.S.A. 10: 4-12. Following the public portion of the meeting, the Township Committee will proceed with the in-person, closed, executive legal session at which time any person present in the Main Meeting Room at the Municipal Building will be excused and asked to leave.

Township Committee Meeting - In-Person Open Conference & Closed Executive Legal Session

To reserve one of the eight (8) seats that will be available for the open conference session, members of the public need apply via the Township’s sign-in module on the Township’s website. Seats are available on a first come, first served basis. Alternatively, members of the public who wish to attend the open conference session remotely, may do so by calling the Township’s dial-in number as follows when the meeting is open to the public for comment: Dial-in number: (978) 990-5000 Access Code: 266554# Members of the public who are unable to utilize the access method due to a disability may submit written comments or questions by contacting the Business Administrator/ Township Clerk at jgiorgio@hanovertownship.com prior to the meeting, up until 4:00 PM on September 24, 2020. The comments or questions, which must include the individual’s name and address, will become part of the meeting record.
