MEMBERS WANTED

The Hanover Township Cultural Arts Committee is dedicated to the advancement of cultural events for the citizens of Hanover Township. The committee is composed of interested citizens who volunteer to seek that goal. They meet monthly and try to discover activities related to fine arts for the people of the township. New members are always welcome and have been invited to participate.

For almost nineteen years they have presented many types of events to the public. These events include performances by musicians, singers, actors and displays to enhance the cultural level in Hanover Township. For ten years they had organized an outdoor fine art show and sale (Art in the Park). They have sponsored bus trips to performances, museums and other cultural activities, such as operas, garden tours and historic sites. The Cultural Committee sponsors, on a regular basis, fine arts displays by local artists in our town hall. This year it included a display of art from the “Creative Heart Works” and continued a display of rare maps of Hanover Township and Morris County.

The township invites you to join our group as a member and participate in adding experiences to our town’s activities.

Your letter should state you would like to serve on the Cultural Committee, the reasons why, and any background information that would be helpful to the Township Committee in considering your application.
