     Park Permits are issued by reservation only.  Requests for use of parks for picnics must be made at least ten (10) working days prior to the date requested.  Requests must be in writing , on letterhead if possible, dated, list facility requested, time needed, rain date if wanted, the number of people expected  (we cannot accommodate more than 200 people at any park), and activities requested.  Please include name, address, contact phone numbers for planning and for the day of the event.  Requests should be sent to Hanover Township Parks & Recreation, PO Box N, 15 North Jefferson Road, Whippany, New Jersey 07981, Attention: Matt Mercurio.

     Use of softball field is only available for picnics scheduled at Malapardis Park, and only if there is no scheduled usage by Township teams on that date.  No one is allowed to play on a township field without a written permit from the Recreation Department.

     Insurance is required for all picnic/ball field usage, naming "Township of Hanover" as additionally insured.

     No propane grills may be brought from home.  If event is catered and propane is being used, they must obtain a permit from the respective fire department.  Charcoal grills may be brought from home.

FEES:

Individual/Resident: $35.00

Individual/Non-Resident: $70.00

Organization Within Hanover Township: $100.00

Organization Outside of Hanover Township: $200.00

Not For Profit Organization Within Hanover Township: $10.00

Not For Profit Organization Outside of Hanover Township: $20.00
