BEE MEADOW POOL

AT BEE MEADOW PARK

The Bee Meadow Pool, owned by the Township of Hanover and operated by the Board of Recreation Commissioners, opened in 1964.  It was built and is run entirely on funds generated from membership fees and other operating revenues.  The pool is located on the 89 acre Bee Meadow Park site.

The Main Swimming Pool contains two slides and a shallow area which give the pool its Z-shaped configuration.  The entire pool is surrounded by a concrete deck, which in turn is surrounded by lawn and professional landscaping. A small tot pool is also located on the grounds. The bathhouse provides hot showers, restrooms and lockers. A snack bar is also available to our members. The pool's professional staff is headed by a veteran manager and includes well trained and certified lifeguards.  The pool opens weekends and holidays beginning Friday, May 27, 2011, and is open daily starting Tuesday, June 21, 2011 or the day after school closes.  The season ends on Monday, September 5, 2011.

Pool membership is open to Hanover Township residents and non-residents.  Many types of memberships are offered.  For rates and pool applications , stop by the Recreation Office in the Community Center.

We have some exciting news for the 2011 season!  Take a look at our new Pool Activities Calendars.  Included in the cost of your pool membership this year is a whole calendar of activities and events for members of all ages.  From children’s activities to movie nights, late swim nights, parties and more; this is guaranteed to be a fun-filled summer!
