Family Intervention Services
Family Intervention Services administers Morris County's Children's Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (CMRSS) program. Mobile Response provides outreach assistance, in person, to families who are experiencing a crisis. This service assists families in resolving the immediate crisis and helps to link them to a range of community services to facilitate family stabilization. They service children ages 5 through 17 and they have bilingual staff to assist Spanish-speaking families. This is a free service that may be beneficial for many of the families that you come into contact with. Additionally, they are available 24/7 by calling the Contracted Systems Administrator at 877-652-7624.
Morris County Organization for Hispanic Affairs (MCOHA)
MCOHA is a non-profit organization that is open to ALL Morris County Residents. They provide a variety of social services including transportation and home energy assistance. They also help those who are seeking to become legal U.S. residents through their Center for Citizenship and Legal Immigration (CCLI).
NewBridge serves Morris, Passaic and Sussex counties. Their services include adult and family counseling, substance abuse treatment and addiction recovery, play therapy for young children, school-based prevention programs, youth employment and education services, adult day treatment programs, and outreach to the elderly. They also provide a range of adult residential services that encompass group homes, supervised apartments, and supportive/affordable housing, as well as case management.

Black Bear Safety - NJ Division of Fish & Wildlife

Resource categories include: seniors, veterans, housing, financial assistance, food, housing, utilities, addiction, etc.
NJ Helps is a free and easy guide for you to determine what programs and assistance for which you and your family may be eligible. NJ Helps will tell you where to go for help and what to bring with you, after you have answered a few basic questions. NJ Helps cannot guarantee that you qualify for these programs. You must still apply for help by contacting and filling out the required forms for each program.

NJ SHARES is an energy and utility assistance safety net for households in an emergency or crisis situation who are not eligible for other forms of assistance
The New Jersey State Library Talking Book & Braille Center (TBBC)
Founded in 1967, TBBC is a library that provides no-cost, home-delivered services, on behalf of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped at the Library of Congress, to children, teens and adults in New Jersey who have difficulty reading standard print or trouble holding a book.
