Travelling Teens


The Travelling Teens Program provides for the social, mental, and physical growth of the camper through a variety of trips and activities in a safe and fun environment.

Community Pass Instructions

Registration opens on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 9am via Community Pass.

The program is open to Hanover Township residents entering grades 7 through 9 in September 2023.

The program will be held in two-week sessions. The first session begins on Monday, July 3, 2023, and ends on Friday, July 14, 2023 .

There is no camp on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. 

The second session begins on Monday, July 17,2023, and runs through Friday, July 28, 2023. You may register for either session or both.  

A minimum payment of $425 is due at the time of registration, and the remaining balance by Monday, June 12,2023.  

If payment in full is not received by Monday, June 12, 2023, your child will not be able to attend the program and there will be no refunds.

 $850 July 17, 2023 – July 28, 2023

Daily Activities:

Participants will be transported each day to a different location as noted on the Travelling Teens Calendar under strict supervision.  If your child chooses to bring personal belongings (video games, cell phones, etc.)  please be aware that the Travelling Teens staff is not responsible for any personal belongings!


Participants entering grades 7-9 will be dropped off and picked up at the Hanover Township Community Center, 15 N. Jefferson Road, Whippany.

Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm*

*You will be notified in advance if a trip will be returning to the Community Center after 4:30 pm.


Participants are divided into small groups led by head adult counselors. 


Participants are expected to wear proper attire and sneakers every day. No flip-flops or crocs allowed! Camp t-shirts and proper footwear must be worn on all trips.
