The Travelling Teens Program provides for the social, mental, and physical growth of the camper through a variety of trips and activities in a safe and fun environment.
Online Registration for Travelling Teens will open on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 9 am via Community Pass.
Please make sure you are able to access your Community Pass account prior to May 3, 2021. If you are unable to access your account, please call the Recreation Department during business hours at 973-428-2463.

The program is open to Hanover Township residents entering grades 7 through 9 in September 2021. The program will be held in two-week sessions. The first session begins on Monday, July 5, 2021 and ends on Friday, July 16th. The second session begins on Monday, July 19th and runs through Friday, July 30th. Due to limited capacity each participant may only register for one of the two sessions, thereby allowing the most people to attend. The cost for each two-week session is $725.00 until May 20th. After May 20, 2021 each two-week session is $750.00. A minimum payment of $400.00 is due at the time of registration, and the remaining balance by June 15th. If payment in full is not received by June 15th your child will not be able to attend the program and there will be no refunds. In addition, THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR SESSIONS PARTICIPANTS CANNOT ATTEND!

Participants will be transported each day to a different location as noted on the Travelling Teens Calendar under strict supervision. If your child chooses to bring personal belongings (video games, cell phones, etc.) please be aware that the Travelling Teens staff is not responsible for any personal belongings!
Participants entering grades 7-9 will be dropped off and picked up at the Hanover Township Community Center, 15 N. Jefferson Road, Whippany.
Hours: 9 am – 4 pm*
*You will be notified in advance if a trip will be returning to the Community Center after 4 pm.
Participants are divided into small groups led by head adult counselors.
Participants are expected to wear proper attire and sneakers every day. No flip-flops or crocs allowed! Camp t-shirts and proper footwear must be worn on all trips.
A daily itinerary will be emailed to each participant at the beginning of June.
