  • Ordinance 1-2022: Amending and supplementing Section 125-4 entitled "Recreation Department Fees" under Chapter 125 of the Code of the Township entitled Fees with the inclusion of new 2022 fees related to various Recreation and Park Administration Department programs and activities and the inclusion of new Resident and Non-Resident Pool Membership Fees for the year 2022 Bee Meadow Swimming Pool Season.

  • Ordinance 5-2022: An ordinance authorizing the acquisition and installation of artificial synthetic turf at the Brickyard Athletic Field and retaining the services of a professional engineering firm for the purpose of performing Wetland permitting, and if necessary, engineering and design services related to the installation of the synthetic turf and further authorizing the appropriation of $1,000,000 from the Township's 2022 Capital Improvement Fund and all prior years for the financing of the project.
  • Ordinance 6-2022: An ordinance authorizing a one (1%) percent increase in the appropriation limit of the Township's calendar year 2022 Current Fund Budget and further establishing a cap bank, all in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:4-45.14
  • Ordinance 7-2022: An ordinance authorizing the joint purchase with the Hanover Sewerage Authority of a mobile combination sewer, catch basin, and storm drainage vacuum cleaning truck and further authorizing the transfer of $150,000.00 from the 2022 Capital Improvement Fund and all prior years to capital account number 410-5644-366 to underwrite one half of the purchase price.
  • Ordinance 8-2022: An ordinance authorizing the purchase and installation of two (2) permanent Paragon 20002 Paraflyte Superflyte lifeguard stands with rear ladders or approved equal to be installed at the Bee Meadow swimming pool and further appropriating the sum of $30,000.00 from the Township’s Swimming Pool Enterprise Fund – Capital account for 2022 and all prior years for the financing of the project.

  • Ordinance 10-2022: An ordinance amending and supplementing Chapter 166 of the Code of the Township entitled 'Land Use and Development Legislation' with a change in the Township’s Zoning Map to modify the boundary of the RM-7 Residence District. See also Resolution 79-2022.

  • Ordinance 14-2022: An ordinance of the Township Committee of the Township of Hanover in the County of Morris and the State of New Jersey vacating a portion of the Cedar Knolls Road right-of-way (designated as Lot 12 in Block 2201 as set forth on the tax map of the Township of Hanover) adjacent to 201 Cedar Knolls road which right-of-way is no longer needed or necessary for public use by the Township and further authorizing its conveyance to Steven and Stacey Van Seggern.
  • Ordinance 15-2022: An ordinance of the Township Committee of the Township of Hanover in the County of Morris and the State of New Jersey authorizing the implementation of Phase III of a multi-phase project for the improvement and modernization of the Township's communications and technology infrastructure with the installation of security cameras in the Township's parks and recreational facilities and at other critical infrastructure locations and further appropriating the sum of $500,000.00 from the Township's 2022 Capital Improvement Fund and all prior years for financing the Phase III improvements.
  • Ordinance 16-2022: An ordinance of the Township Committee of the Township of Hanover in the County of Morris and State of New Jersey amending and supplementing Chapter 166 of the Code of the Township entitled land use and development legislation by amending the Township's zoning map to change the zone classification of certain properties from the R-40N district to the PU zone district and from the R-40N district to the R-10 zone district, to amend the parking requirements, and amending the development standards for the PU zone district. Hanrahan, AIA, and the firm of Clarke Caton Hintz, licensed architects, for the purpose of preparing concept plans for the possible improvement/expansion of police headquarters and the violations bureau and further appropriating the sum of $30,000.00 from the 2022 capital improvement fund account in retaining the services of the architectural firm.

  • Ordinance 23-2022: An ordinance of the Township Committee of the Township of Hanover in the County of Morris and State of New Jersey amending and supplementing Section 267-43. Entitled “Parking Prohibited At All Times.” under Article III entitled Parking, Standing, and Stopping as set forth in Chapter 267 of the Code of the Township Vehicles and Traffic by prohibiting parking at all times on McNab Avenue from its intersection with Ridgedale Avenue to a point 200 feet west of the intersection.
  • Ordinance 24-2022: An ordinance of the Township Committee of the Township of Hanover, in the County of Morris and State of New Jersey, amending Part II, Chapter 218, "Property Maintenance," Article V, Section 29 "Violations and Penalties" to increase the monetary penalty amount in accordance with state law.

  • Ordinance 28-2022: An ordinance of the Township Committee of the Township of Hanover authorizing the Phase II resurfacing of a portion of South Jefferson Road from Eden Lane to Cedar Knolls Road in the Whippany section of the Township and appropriating the sum of $375,000.00 from the New Jersey Department of Transportation's fiscal year 2021 Municipal Aid program and the Township's 2022 Current Fund budget.
  • Ordinance 29-2022: An ordinance of the Township Committee of the Township of Hanover in the County of Morris and State of New Jersey amending and supplementing Chapter 166 of the Code of the Township entitled Land Use and Development Legislation by amending the Township's zoning map to change the zone classification of Lot 22 in Block 5901, as identified on the tax maps, from the OB-RL3 district to the 1-2 district, and to change the zone classification of Lot 23 in Block 5901, as identified on the tax maps, from the B-10 district to the PU district.   • Ordinance 30-2022: An ordinance of the Township Committee of the Township of Hanover amending and supplementing §255.c. entitled “Qualifications of Towing Operators; Indemnification of Township” and §255-7. Entitled “Rate Schedule” under chapter 255 of the Code of the Township of Hanover entitled Towing and Road Service as it relates to towing and road service charges for calendar years 2023, 2024, and 2025.
  • Ordinance 31-2022: An ordinance of the Township Committee of the Township of Hanover establishing the salaries and other compensation for the full-time employees of the Public Works, Buildings & Grounds, and Parks Maintenance Department represented by IBT Local No. 97 for calendar years 2022 through 2025.
  • Ordinance 32-2022: An ordinance of the Township Committee of the Township of Hanover authorizing the acquisition of 7 Clay Street in the Whippany section of the Township and also designated as Lot 3 in Block 8401 as set forth on the tax map of the Township of Hanover, authorizing the Mayor and Township Clerk to execute a contract for the sale of real estate, and further appropriating the sum of $ 500,000.00 from various sources for the purchase of the property and the sum of $60,000.00 from other sources for the demolition of structures on the site.
  • Ordinance 33-2022: An ordinance of the Township Committee of the Township of Hanover authorizing various capital improvements to the Township’s municipal facilities and roadway drainage system and appropriating and transferring the sum of $409,600.00.00 for said improvements from the Township’s 2022 improvements to Buildings and Grounds and Installation of Storm Drainage Other Expense accounts into the 2022 Capital Improvement Fund and all prior years for the financing of the projects described therein.
  • Ordinance 34-2022: An ordinance amending Chapter 166, Land Use and Development, in order to amend the zone classification of Block 1801, Lots 3 and 5 from the D-S zone district to the I-B3 zone district, to amend the development regulations for the I-B3 zone district, to amend the regulations for the number of parking spaces for nonresidential developments, to amend the signage regulations for the B, B-10, D-S, and WC zone districts and for retail development in the I-B3 and OB-DS zone districts, and other related amendments.   • Ordinance 35-2022: An ordinance amending Chapter 166, Land Use and Development, in order to amend the zone classification of a portion of Block 2903, Lot 22 from the R-25 residential district to the B-10 highway business zone district, to require, authorize and encourage electric vehicle supply/service equipment (EVSE) and make-ready parking spaces for certain developments, to permit electric vehicle supply/service parking spaces as a principal use in certain locations in the nonresidential zone districts, and to amend Section 166-110, Building Permits and Plans.
