Board of Adjustment

The Board of Adjustment is responsible for a) deciding appeals that argue that errors were made by a zoning administrator in the enforcement of the zoning ordinance; b) deciding requests for interpretation of the zoning ordinance; c) deciding requests for variances from the zoning regulations involving single-family and two-family residences; and d) deciding requests for use variances and certain other variances, and associated site plans or subdivisions, involving multi-family dwellings or nonresidential uses.
