Tom, a lifelong Hanover resident, spoke about opportunities for local advertising and his mission of helping local businesses. He works for A4 Media which specializes in helping smaller businesses, typically operating on small budgets, with their advertising needs, through tv advertising with News Channel 12 and hundreds of other cable networks, as well as other means such as Mobile AdMessenger.

The goals of Shop Hanover are to establish a supportive, self-sustainable, collaborative community amongst the local businesses as well as to drive awareness of the businesses throughout the community. Suzanne DiMontova, a member of the Shop Hanover committee said of the event “I’m honored to be standing amongst the fine members of this community - Hanover Township officials, members of this committee who, based on a shared love of our community, work incredibly hard to foster positive change and growth, and all of those who own and represent the fantastic businesses of our community, which together, create the patchwork of what Hanover Township is to our residents." The Shop Hanover team hopes to hold more informal mixer events at other local businesses throughout the year and EDAC plans to host a large Business Networking Event in June.
