Runway 13-31 will undergo keel rehabilitation work starting May 17th, 2023. Runway 5-23 will remain OPEN throughout the duration of the 13-31 work.
A consecutive, 12-day closure of Runway 13-31, scheduled from May 17 through May 28, will allow crews to mill and pave approximately 800 feet of the center keel section of Runway 13-31, west of Runway 5-23 and Taxiway Alpha (see picture below).
In anticipation of increased Runway 13-31 use caused by MMU’s Runway 5-23 Rehabilitation Project over the next 5 years, DM has planned for 13-31 construction phases to accommodate. DM last conducted work on Runway 13-31 in the summer of 2018.
